Shahin Afsharian-Campuzano is the executive chef and a partner. With influences from a very multi-cultural family including Persian, Mexican and Italian roots, Shahin began cooking as a child. He has a master’s degree in Hospitality and Gastronomy. His career has taken him all over the world including as chef for the French and English embassies in Mexico City; with Chef Joel Robuchon in Italy and Monte Carlo (where Shahin earned a Michelin star); at Havana Blue in St. Thomas USVI; consulting for Mihoko’s 21 Grams in New York; and most recently at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel/Elway’s Steak House. As the founding chef of Salati, Shahin was also selected to be on the Food Network show, Chopped, making it to the finals.
TC Clark is the founder and president of the Salati restaurant group, LLC. He has been happily involved in the hospitality industry for over 20 years in a variety of roles and believes family comes first. This is why he is so proud to be the father of four; his two beautiful children and his “babies”, Salati and Milo’s.
TC is currently the owner/operator of Milo’s Sports Tavern, a successful neighborhood joint right here in Denver. And with his newest concept, Salati Italian Street Food, TC will operate the business with a family culture for both its employees and patrons.
He is passionately devoted to the industry, with previous gigs that stretch from Michigan to Colorado including food and beverage management at Pinehurst CC and Castle Pines CC.
From fine dining eateries, private clubs, casual family establishments, to popular neighborhood spots, TC has experienced them all—and it shows! TC and his teams are always looking to create a fun vibe that thrives. They are always keeping great food in mind–but most of all they just want you to come break some bread and have a good time.
